Chinese cuisine under the watchful eye of Madame ng Siong Mui, the author of four
best-selling cookery books. this informative session will begin with a demonstration of traditional Chinese tea
preparation. You'll then taste several classic blends of this beverage before
brewing a pot for yourself. This will be followed by a discussion of the various Chinese regional cuisines and how
the land, climate and culture of the different provinces have inspired different dishes.
You will also learn about the Yin-Yang concept and the principles of the Five
Elements in the context of Chinese food. Later you'll introduced to the unusual
pots, pans and utensils of a traditional Chinese kitchen. This program will conclude with the opportunity to actually sample some of these
mouth-watering and nutritious dishes for yourself during lunch! Before returning to
the ship, you'll also receive a gift of cooking recipes and a souvenir. No wonder
