Savor the exotic Asian charm of Singapore's inner city and nearby suburbs without the need for extensive walking.

From the Cruise Terminal, you'll travel by air-conditioned motor coach across the Benjamin Sheares Bridge, which vaults across Marina Bay.  there are far-reaching views of modern Singapore's spectacular skyline during this crossing.

As you continue into the suburbs, you'll pass middle income residential areas and the quaint shop-houses of Katong.  See painstakingly restored Peranankan (Malay-Chinese) homes decorated with pastel-colored floral and distinctive stylized designs.

While traversing the old Malay quarter of Arab Street, you'll see the magnificent Sultan Mosque with its massive gold dome.  nearby lies the colorful bazaar where stalls brimming with batik cloth, carvings and basketware crowd the narrow sidewalk.

Relax over a refreshing drink at the Inter-continental Hotel before your coach continues to the historic colonial district.  You'll pass the National Museum, the recently restored Art Museum and the Cathedral of the good Shepherd, one of Singapore's oldest churches.  then glimpse stately Raffles Hotel, the Supreme court and city Hall before entering Singapore's Wall Street, Shenton Way.

Soon bustling Chinatown appears with its hub-bub of trade and activity.  See herbal medicine, goldsmith and art curio shops side-by-side calligraphers and souvenir stalls.  After passing through the fashionable shopping district of Orchard road, you may choose to leave the excursion at the Paragon Shopping Center.  Alternatively, you may stay on the coach and return to the ship;

Approximately 3 hours.
