Witness one of nature's most intriguing phenomena at Phillip Island, breeding ground of the world's smallest penguins.

Your afternoon drive to Phillip Island is by way of the Mornington Peninsula and across the Narrows Bridge at San Remo.  Approximately two and a half hours after leaving the ship, you'll stop at the Koala Conservation Centre.  From the ideal vantage point of an elevated walkway in the treetops, you'll see these cuddly creatures in their natural environment.

Later, a succulent lobster dinner with wine will be served at one of the island's fine restaurants.

At dusk, you'll witness an extraordinary spectacle as groups of tiny Fairy Penguins swim ashore and waddle unperturbed up the well-lighted beach to their burrows in the sand.

With the heart-warming spectacle of the endearing Fairy Penguins still uppermost in your mind, you'll return to the ship shortly before sailing.

Note:  Please dress warmly, as evening breezes can be cool.  As this is a popular attraction with many visitors, please listen carefully to your driver's instructions on meeting arrangements.

Approximately 9 1/2 hours.
