No trip to Alaska is complete until you've seen the abundant, yet seemingly elusive, wildlife. In order to get the most out of your cruise, we offer the following tips on viewing wildlife:

Spend Time on Deck
Make Friends
Watch for Others
Set Your Expectations—Properly!
Talk with the Experts on Board
Think Postively

On every trip, We've been amazed at the numbers of animals that I've seen, while others tell me that they have yet to catch a glimpse of anything. With a little effort and attention, your Alaska cruise can include many sightings of the beautiful and exciting wildlife native to the area. Good luck!

Spend Time on Deck

If you are in your cabin, you won't see wildlife. Other than an occasional Bald Eagle, I've never seen an animal make its way on board. So, rule number one is spend time on deck actively looking for wildlife. Of course, any of the lounges with large picture windows will do, especially in bad weather (yes, the weather in Alaska can sometimes be less than desirable for all activities).
