Beyond city limits lies the magnificent Capilano River Regional Park, where cascading river waters tumble through a canyon of solid granite.

From our pier, you'll take a 25-minute journey by coach or minivan to Ambleside Park beside the Pacific ocean's shores.  From there, you'll walk through an urban area into a magnificent tract of rain forest.  Its peaceful tranquillity is only punctuated by quiet footsteps on the forest floor and soft winds through towering trees.   The trails are lined with an emerald forest of ancient Douglas firs, hemlock and Western Red cedars.

You'll enjoy a tasty snack and drink before continuing along the trail to the Capilano fish hatchery, where you'll become acquainted with the lifecycle of the Pacific salmon. We then return to the ship.

Approximately 4 hours.
