Your motor coach will make its way across the Judean Mountains and along the road of courage to historical Jerusalem. the main sights of this grand city are pointed out as your coach slowly makes its way along a myriad of roads. After passing the Hebrew University, you'll make the gradual climb to the mount of olives for a panoramic view of the old city. The Kidron Valley known as the Valley of the Last Judgement, soon lies ahead. shortly afterwards, you'll take a walk through history in the historic Garden of Gethsemane. No other place in the world is worshipped more by the Jewish people than the Wailing Wall. Located a short walk from the dung Gate, this imposing wall originally supported the foundation of Solomon's Temple. The people of Israel come to pray here to demonstrate their sorrow over the destruction of the House of God. Following lunch at a nearby hotel, you'll reboard your coach and pass the Israeli
parliament and new city en route to Ashdod. Approximately 7 hours. |
